Sterling is 9-1 against Rush Springs since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Sterling Tigers are taking a road trip to face off against the Rush Springs Redskins at 1:00 p.m.

Sterling is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Big Pasture just ended the team's nine-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 59-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rangers.

Meanwhile, Rush Springs hadn't done well against Walters recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Rush Springs managed a 48-42 win over Walters. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Redskins.

Rush Springs has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points per game. As for Sterling, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-3.

Sterling took their victory against Rush Springs in their previous meeting on Friday by a conclusive 49-27. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sterling since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
