Basketball Game Preview: San Juan Broncos vs. Whitehorse Raiders

San Juan and Whitehorse are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The San Juan Broncos will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Whitehorse Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, San Juan turned things around against Bryce Valley on Saturday. They managed a 53-49 win over the Mustangs.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Whitehorse). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Monticello 73-38. The victory was familiar territory for the Raiders who have now won three games in a row.

Whitehorse's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for San Juan, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5.

San Juan might still be hurting after the 64-44 defeat they got from Whitehorse in their previous matchup back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Whitehorse's Keiarra Martin, who posted 24 points. Now that San Juan knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time?
