Volleyball Recap: West Scranton Comes Up Short

West Scranton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Western Wayne Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Invaders of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-9, 25-16.

West Scranton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Western Wayne, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. West Scranton is set to face off against their familiar foe Lakeland at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Western Wayne will take on rival Dunmore at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
