Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Deerfield walked away with it. They skirted past the Clinton Cougars 62-60. Winning may never get old, but the Demons sure are getting used to it with their 18th in a row.

Deerfield pushed their record up to 22-5 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.2 points over those games. As for Clinton, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.

Deerfield has already played their next match, a 47-42 loss against The Prairie School on the 8th. Clinton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
