Soccer Recap: Navasota Snags Tenth Victory in Last 11 Games

While Navasota's victory against Harmony School of Innovation wasn't quite the blowout they won the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Navasota Rattlers beat the Harmony School of Innovation Mustangs by a goal, winning 4-3. Given the Rattlers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 150th, while the Mustangs are ranked 663rd), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Navasota is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 68 goals over those 11 matchups. Harmony School of Innovation's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Navasota will challenge Hempstead at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harmony School of Innovation, they will face off against Sealy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
