On Friday, St. Stephens came up short against Watauga and fell 28-18. The defeat continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Pioneers: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Mount Tabor never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past Glenn 26-0. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won four in a row.

The critical scores for Mount Tabor came from Dylon Dillard, Jock Hunder, and Taryton Thacker.

Mount Tabor's run defense was locked in: Glenn could only muster 2.4 yards per carry. While one picked up at least five total tackles, Thacker stood above the rest. He picked up three sacks and made five total tackles. Mount Tabor's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.6.
