Basketball Recap: Maliki Cobarris and Keith Taylor Secure Win for Bradford

Bradford hadn't done well against Trenton recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Bradford Tornadoes snuck past the Trenton Tigers with a 42-37 victory. The 42-point effort marked the Tornadoes' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Leading Bradford to victory were Keith Taylor and Maliki Cobarris. Taylor posted 12 points, while Cobarris went 5 for 11 en route to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jy'Quez Cason, who earned five points.

Trenton's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mason VunCannon, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 14 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Zander Grant, who had nine points.

The win made it two in a row for Bradford and bumps their season record up to 13-3. As for Trenton, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season.

Bradford has already played their next matchup, an 84-49 loss against Newberry on the 27th. As for Trenton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-56 defeat against The Rock on the 28th.
