Softball Recap: Mayer Takes a Loss

Mayer lost against Ash Fork/Seligman back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats lost 19-3 to the Spartans. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mayer saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isabella Morales, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Mayer now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Ash Fork/Seligman, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Mayer didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-0 defeat against Joseph City on the 17th. As for Ash Fork/Seligman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-4 loss against Williams on the 17th.
