Fannin County is a perfect 4-0 against Dade County since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Fannin County Rebels will square off against the Dade County Wolverines at 5:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Fannin County had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the five-goal drubbing they dealt Gordon Central on Tuesday. Fannin County put the hurt on Gordon Central with a sharp 6-1 victory. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-0.

Meanwhile, Dade County kept a clean sheet against Christian Heritage on Tuesday. They blew past the Lions 6-0. The win was nothing new for the Wolverines as they're now sitting on three straight.

The victory (which was Fannin County's fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those five contests. As for Dade County, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Fannin County skirted past Dade County 2-1 in their previous matchup back in April of 2022. Does Fannin County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Dade County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
