Volleyball Recap: Greenville Green Wave vs. Butler Aviators
Greenville lost against Butler back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Green Wave came up short against the Aviators, falling 3-0.
The final score came out to 25-10, 25-20, 25-18.
Hailey Gillespie paced Greenville's offense, picking up five kills. Gillespie got some help from Kindyl Peltz and her 15 assists.
Greenville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Butler, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
Coming up, Greenville will be taking part in a tournament against Mississinawa Valley at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Butler, they will square off against Fairborn at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
