Baseball Recap: Damien's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Damien walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Seabury Spartans on Thursday. 12 seems to be a good number for the Monarchs as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The victory was the third in a row for Damien, bringing their record up to 4-6-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Seabury, with the defeat, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-2-1.
