Softball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Hillsboro Spartans, falling 16-10. Even if the Eagles couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Hillsboro, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Spartans beat Centennial by a score of 12-2 on Wednesday.
