Galena faced Bishop Manogue in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Grizzlies fell just short of the Miners by a score of 2-1. Galena's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Blake Hartley, who's now up to six this season.

Galena's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-2-1. As for Bishop Manogue, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2-1.
