Centauri is 0-7 against Buena Vista since June of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Falcons will face off against the Demons at 3:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Centauri barely beat Trinidad the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 23-5 margin over the Miners on Monday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Falcons as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Leland Chacon made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was even better at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. He has become a key player for Centauri: the team is 4-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 4-12 otherwise.

The Demons' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three games.

Knox Reid was incredible, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Reed Lundy, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Centauri's record is now 8-14. As for Buena Vista, the win got them back to even at 11-11.

Centauri might still be hurting after the 17-5 defeat they got from Buena Vista in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
