Baseball Recap: Capistrano Valley Christian Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

Capistrano Valley Christian won the last time they faced Pacifica Christian and things went their way on Friday too. The Eagles walked away with a 7-3 win over the Tritons.

Baron Butler was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jack Gallo, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Capistrano Valley Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Capistrano Valley Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Pacifica Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-10.
