Softball Recap: Northmor Takes a Loss

Fredericktown hit Northmor with a seven-run fifth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Golden Knights lost 13-1 to the Freddies. The defeat continues a trend for the Golden Knights in their meetings with the Freddies: they've now lost three in a row.

Northmor saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Katalina Roseberry, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Northmor's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Fredericktown, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

While Northmor had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
