Softball Recap: Pacific Takes a Loss

San Bernardino hit Pacific with a nine-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Pirates came up short against the Cardinals, falling 14-4. The Pirates have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Pacific's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for San Bernardino, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Pacific nor San Bernardino have any future games scheduled.
