South Dearborn came into Wednesday's contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the South Ripley Raiders by a score of 6-1 on Wednesday. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raiders, too.

South Dearborn's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for South Ripley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Dearborn will take on Union County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for South Ripley, they will welcome North Decatur at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
