Softball Recap: West Rowan Falcons vs. Concord Spiders
While West Rowan put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Concord. The West Rowan Falcons put the hurt on the Concord Spiders with a sharp 6-0 win. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Spiders, too.
Not much got past Arabelle Shulenburger, who gave up just a hit and racked up 12 Ks to keep Concord off the board. Those 12 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Shulenburger.
At the plate, Raney Phelps was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. That triple was her first of the season. Riley Hagaas was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run.
