Basketball Recap: Isabella Takes a Loss

Isabella was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 58-10 defeat at the hands of the Holtville Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 448th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 116th).

Isabella's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Holtville, their win bumped their record up to 19-3.

Isabella has already played their next game (against Greene County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Holtville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 33-25 defeat against Billingsley on the 27th.
