After both having extra time off, the Morrow Mustangs and the McNair Mustangs will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, McNair didn't have quite enough to beat Miller Grove on Thursday and fell 2-1.
McNair took a 1-0 lead headed into the second set, but sadly they lost the next two. After all that action, the final score was 19-25, 25-17, 15-9.
Morrow pushed their record up to 22-1 with that victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for McNair, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.
Everything went Morrow's way against McNair when the teams last played back in August as Morrow made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Morrow since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
