Basketball Recap: San Augustine Comes Up Short

San Augustine lost against Tenaha back in November of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The San Augustine Wolves took a 51-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tenaha Tigers.

San Augustine's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Tenaha, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

San Augustine will head out to face off against Chireno at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tenaha, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Kountze at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. Kountze knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Tenaha likes a good challenge.
