Softball Recap: Big Sandy Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Big Sandy's offense. They lost 16-0 to the Como-Pickton Eagles on Friday. The Wildcats have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Big Sandy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Como-Pickton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Big Sandy is set to take on their familiar foe Alba-Golden at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Como-Pickton will face off against rival Martins Mill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
