Softball Recap: Burrillville Takes a Loss

Burrillville lost against Johnston back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Broncos lost 9-3 to the Panthers. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Burrillville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adrianna Carter, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Burrillville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Burrillville will square off against Mt. Hope at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Broncos are facing the Huskies at the right time seeing as the Huskies are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Johnston, they will take on Woonsocket at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
