Dimond had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the West Anchorage Eagles. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win back in September.

Dimond was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-16, 25-19.

Dimond can attribute much of their success to Elena Snow, who had six digs and three aces.

Snow wasn't the only good servers: Dimond was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in six consecutive matchups.

Dimond's record is now 21-9-1. As for West Anchorage, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-25-2.

Dimond has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Juneau-Douglas on the 24th. As for West Anchorage, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Bartlett on the 21st.
