Basketball Recap: Mckinley's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

McKinley needed a changed in momentum after dropping five straight games and they got it from Avon Fryer. The McKinley Red Dragons managed a 48-42 win over the Struthers Wildcats on Tuesday thanks in part to Fryer, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 boards. Those 11 rebounds gave him a new career-high.

McKinley's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Struthers, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 14 of their last 15 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-18 record this season.

McKinley will head out to challenge South Range at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Range will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something McKinley surely won't give up without a fight. Struthers has already played their next contest (against Lakeview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
