Aubrey Gottfried made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 13 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Mallory Brickner was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 2-for-2. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Trenna Johnson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
