Softball Recap: Mayville Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kingston, Mayville was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the Owendale-Gagetown Bulldogs with a sharp 11-1 win. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Mayville's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4.

Coming up, Mayville will square off against Peck at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Pirates have now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season. As for Owendale-Gagetown, they will challenge Carsonville-Port Sanilac at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
