Baseball Recap: Fort Collins Finds Home Field Redemption Against Greeley West

There's no place like home for Fort Collins, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against the Greeley West Spartans by a score of 3-0 on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Lambkins, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kincade Crow made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over six innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Fort Collins is 4-2 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 3-7 otherwise. Crow was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Crow wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Baete, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Fort Collins' win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Greeley West, they dropped their record down to 5-13 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Fort Collins will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Spartans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
