Softball Recap: Potomac Falls Takes a Loss

Potomac Falls was the 9-7 winner over Heritage when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell just short of the Pride by a score of 9-8 on Tuesday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bella Reuss and Lyla Daugherty-Moysey did some serious damage despite the final result: Reuss went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double, while Daugherty-Moysey went 3-for-4 with three doubles, two RBI, and one run. That double marked the first that Reuss hit this season. Riya King was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Potomac Falls' loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Heritage, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Potomac Falls will be playing at home against Park View at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Heritage, they will venture away from home to challenge John Champe at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
