Basketball Recap: Grace Academy Comes Up Short

After soaring to 65 points the game before, Grace Academy was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They fell to New Life Christian 35-30. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced New Life Christian earlier this season, when they won 61-37.

When it comes to explaining why Grace Academy lost, don't look at Carson Feeser. Despite the final result, he posted 19 points. Another player making a difference was Michael Berry, who had two points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Even though they lost, Grace Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in four consecutive contests.

Grace Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for New Life Christian, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.

Looking ahead, Grace Academy will head out on the road to take on Calvary Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. New Life Christian has already played their next match (against Cumberland Valley Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
