Baseball Recap: Mountain Ridge Takes a Loss

Mountain Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Northern Garrett Huskies, falling 12-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Miners of the 15-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Mountain Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Northern Garrett, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Mountain Ridge is set to challenge their familiar foe Allegany at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Northern Garrett will take on rival Southern at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
