Basketball Recap: Duxbury Takes a Loss

Duxbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Whitman-Hanson Regional Panthers, falling 61-40. The game marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Duxbury's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-5. As for Whitman-Hanson Regional, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Duxbury will square off against Hingham at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Whitman-Hanson Regional, they will head out on the road to take on Marshfield at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
