Hale Ray had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Cromwell Panthers as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Hale Ray never let Cromwell on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 26-24, 25-17.

Reagan Bean paced Hale Ray's offense, picking up 11 kills. Bean got some help from Olivia Thiele and her 11 assists. Bean was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Hale Ray's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Cromwell, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hale Ray is set to challenge their familiar foe Old Lyme at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Cromwell will face off against rival Valley Regional at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
