Greenville had lost three straight, but after bumping their record up to 2-3 on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Stebbins Indians 3-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

As for Stebbins, they now have a losing record of 2-3-1. They have struggled against Greenville recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

For Stebbins' part, Reuel Scales made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Looking ahead, Greenville will face off against Shawnee at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Stebbins will be paying especially close attention to the Green Wave's contest: after the Green Wave face off against the Indians, they'll take on Stebbins again at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
