Union extended the longest winning streak in Keystone Shortway - Small this week by beating Karns City, 28-18. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.

Union moved up to 196 from 313 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. A 28-18 win over the Gremlins helped David Louder's team improve its standing.

The Knights/Damsels' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Brody Shick threw for 193 and two touchdowns and Keenan Rankin had 103 yards receiving. On the ground Cody Kline chipped in 67 yards. Kline helped Union's passing attack out by catching two balls for 33 yards.

Allegheny-Clarion Valley's Kevin Kaufman and Justin Rothen have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Kaufman has thrown for 616 yards this season, while Rothen, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 13 catches for 191 yards. Kline from Union leads the league in rushing with 286 yards.

The top two teams in Keystone Shortway - Small will face off this week when first place Union takes on second place Clarion Area. Last week, the Knights/Damsels bested Karns City, while Clarion Area beat Moniteau.

There should be lots of points scored when Union and the Bobcats face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Knights/Damsels comes in having scored 100 this season, while Clarion Area has scored 140. Union scored 28 points last week as it defeated Ed Conto's team.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Knights/Damsels take on Larry Wiser's team. Union has allowed 44 points this season, while the Bobcats have given up 32. The Knights/Damsels allowed 18 points last week as they topped the Gremlins.

The Falcons were the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in the league. Allegheny-Clarion Valley beat Allegheny-Clarion Valley 24-6 earlier in the week.
