Foothill won the last time they faced Amador Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Falcons put the hurt on the Dons with a sharp 13-4 win. Considering the Falcons have won 14 matchups by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Take Sato-Kreis looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Tanner Tarpley was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Hudson Flora, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Foothill lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Foothill's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Amador Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-11.

Looking ahead, Foothill will venture away from home to face off against De La Salle at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Amador Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
