Volleyball Recap: The Burlington School Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Henderson Collegiate last Wednesday, The Burlington School came back down to earth. The Spartans came up short against the Westchester Country Day Wildcats on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Spartans in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost four in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-15.

Eryn Timmons paced The Burlington School's offense, picking up six kills. Timmons got some help from Macie Garner and her seven assists. Timmons also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Auset Donadelle, racking up three apiece.

The Burlington School's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Westchester Country Day, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

The Burlington School didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Caldwell Academy on the 21st. As for Westchester Country Day, they will be playing at home against Calvary Day School at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Wildcats' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
