It was a good run, but Tri-West Hendricks unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brownsburg Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bruins of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

While Tri-West Hendricks had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 22-25, 25-23, 25-20.

Brownsburg's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kate Vrabel, who had 14 digs and four aces. That's the most aces Vrabel has posted over her last ten matchups. Another player making a difference was Tatum Hunt, who had ten digs and two aces.

Tri-West Hendricks' defeat dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Brownsburg, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Tri-West Hendricks didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Westfield on the 2nd. As for Brownsburg, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Zionsville on the 2nd.
