Martinsburg is 9-1 against Washington since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Martinsburg Bulldogs will face off against the Washington Patriots at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Martinsburg is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of West Virginia's top teams: Morgantown, who was ranked second at the time (Martinsburg was ranked 11th). Martinsburg took a hard 75-59 fall against Morgantown last Saturday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Wednesday (58), the Bulldogs still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Washington had no problem doing just that on Friday. They managed a 62-58 win over the Applemen. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Applemen recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Washington's win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Martinsburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-7 record this season.

Martinsburg couldn't quite get it done against Washington in their previous matchup back in February as they fell 66-54. Can Martinsburg avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
