Volleyball Recap: Mendon Takes a Loss

Mendon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans.

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake was led to victory by Audri Chamberlain and Alyssa Paniccia. Chamberlain had seven digs and two aces, while Paniccia had five digs.

Mendon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0-1.

Looking ahead, Mendon will challenge Honeoye Falls-Lima at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Oneonta on the 6th.
