Preview: South Warren vs. Warren Central
Warren Central had trouble last Friday, and unfortunately for them, their opponent this week is a big step up in difficulty. On Saturday, they is packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against South Warren at at WKU at 5:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Warren Central, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Warren Central had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 6-28 walloping at Greenwood hands.
South Warren had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Hopkinsville 49-17. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-10.
South Warren's lifted them to 1-0 while Warren Central's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if South Warren can add another positive mark to their record or if Warren Central can shake off the loss and take the spring out of South Warren's step.
