Softball Recap: Forestville Central Takes a Loss

Forestville Central came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Chautauqua Lake Eagles, falling 13-5. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Hornets, who until this matchup were averaging 3.86 runs allowed.

Forestville Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Megan Gruber, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Forestville Central's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Chautauqua Lake, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-3.

As of now, neither Forestville Central nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
