Softball Recap: Dudley Comes Up Short

After soaring to 30 runs the game before, Dudley was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Southwest Guilford Cowboys, falling 21-1. The Panthers have struggled against the Cowboys recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Dudley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Southwest Guilford, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Dudley will welcome Eastern Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 14 runs per game this season. As for Southwest Guilford, they will head out on the road to challenge Wheatmore at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
