Soccer Recap: Burbank Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Burbank has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Crescenta Valley Falcons. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Bulldogs couldn't quite close it out.

Burbank's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4-3. As for Crescenta Valley, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3-1.

Burbank didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Burroughs on the 4th. As for Crescenta Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Pasadena on the 1st.
