Basketball Recap: Sterlington Takes a Loss

Sterlington lost against St. Amant last Sunday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Sterlington Panthers fell 59-52 to the St. Amant Gators. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly seven points.

Sterlington has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season. As for St. Amant, they pushed their record up to 10-11 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Sterlington has already played their next matchup, a 53-43 victory against Franklin Parish on the 6th. As for St. Amant, they will square off against French Settlement at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. French Settlement will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something St. Amant surely won't give up without a fight.
