Soccer Recap: Jay M. Robinson Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Jay M. Robinson unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the South Iredell Vikings by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Jay M. Robinson couldn't quite close it out.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jay M. Robinson is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Central Cabarrus at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Iredell, they will head out to square off against Cox Mill at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
