Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Chicago Marshall walked away with it. They took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 59-29 victory over the Rickover Naval Seadragons. The Commandos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 24 points or more this season.

Chicago Marshall's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Charmarre Scott, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten boards. Scott is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last eight games she's played. Janiyah Green was another key player, going 7 of 15 on her way to 16 points and three steals.

Chicago Marshall was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Chicago Marshall, bringing their record for this year to 21-6. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.8 points. As for Rickover Naval, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.

As of now, neither Chicago Marshall nor Rickover Naval have any future games scheduled.
