Baseball Recap: Scurry-Rosser Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Saturday. Scurry-Rosser fell just short of Rains by a score of 5-3. If Scurry-Rosser was looking for revenge after losing 8-2 to Rains when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cole Hartzel was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. That run marked the first that he scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Scurry-Rosser and nudges their season record down to 6-6. As for Rains, their record now sits at 8-6.

Scurry-Rosser didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 4-3 victory against Palmer on the 11th. As for Rains, they have also already played their next game, a 12-2 defeat against Van on the 11th.
