Wimberley waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Boerne-Champion Chargers.

Lilli Sandoval paced Wimberley's offense, picking up 12 kills. Sandoval got some help from Skylar Herring and her 26 assists. Mariah McCoy controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Wimberley's victory bumped their record up to 24-5. As for Boerne-Champion, they moved to 16-2 with that loss, which also ended their 12-game winning streak.

Wimberley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Floresville on the 30th. As for Boerne-Champion, they will take on Smithson Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
